Luigi Barato

ITALIANO. Luigi Barato è un rappresentante della scuola vicentina di oreficeria e smaltatura. Nato nel 1952, riceve la sua prima formazione artistica presso l'Istituto Statale d'Arte "P. Selvatico" di Padova, dove consegue il Diploma di Maestro d'Arte presso la sezione metalli nel 1971 e il Diploma di Maturità d'Arte Applicata nel 1973. Ha frequentato la Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia presso l'Università di Padova, con specializzazione in Storia dell'Arte fino al 1977. Dal 1978 al 1990 ha collaborato con il celebre smaltista Paolo de Poli, che lo ha formato nelle tecniche di lavorazione dei metalli e di smaltatura. Negli anni ha tenuto diverse cattedre d'arte e ha continuato la propria formazione partecipando a diversi seminari. E' tuttora insegnante presso la Scuola d'Arte e Mestieri di Vicenza e in diversi seminari e workshop.

ENGLISH. Luigi Barato is a representative of the Vicentine school of goldsmithing and enamelling. Born in 1952, he spends his first artistic formation years at the State Institute “P. Selvatico” in Padua, where he graduates with a Master of Art Diploma in 1971 and a Diploma in Applied Arts in 1973, both for the metals section. He attended the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy until 1977. From 1978 to 1990, he cooperated with the famous enamel artist Paolo de Poli, who educated him in the techniques of metalwork and enamelwork. Over the years, he has been professor of art in many institutes and at the same time continued his artistic formation in several seminaries. He is still a teacher at the School of Arts and Crafts in Vicenza and in several seminaries and workshops.

FRANÇAIS. Luigi Barato est un représentant de l’école d’orfèvrerie et émaillage à Vicence. Il est né en 1952 et a reçu sa première formation chez l’Institut d’Etat « P. Selvatico » à Padoue, où il reçoit le titre de Maître d’Art en 1971 et le Diplôme en Arts Appliqués en 1973 dans la section métaux. Il fréquente la Faculté de Lettres et Philosophie jusqu’à 1977, avec une spécialisation en histoire de l’art. Depuis 1978 jusqu’à 1990, il collabore avec le célèbre artiste-émailleur Paolo de Poli, qui forme-lui aux techniques du travail des métaux et de l’émaillage. Au cours des années, il a été professeur en différents instituts et a continué sa formation artistique en participant à de séminaires. Il est toujours un professeur à l’Ecole d’Art et Métiers à Vicence and beaucoup de séminaires et ateliers.

DEUTSCH. Er wurde 1952 geboren und erhielt seine erste Ausbildung am Staatlichen Institut "P. Selvatico" in Padua, wo er 1971 den Diploma als Kunstmeister und 1973 den Diploma von "Angewandte Kunst" in der Sektion Metalle erhielt. Er besuchte die Fakultät für Literatur und Philosophie bis 1977 mit einer Spezialisierung in Kunstgeschichte. Von 1978 bis 1990 arbeitete er mit dem berühmten Emailkünstler Paolo de Poli zusammen, der ihn in den Techniken der Metallbearbeitung und Emaillierung ausbildete. Im Laufe der Jahre war er Professor an verschiedenen Instituten und hat seine künstlerische Ausbildung durch die Teilnahme an Seminaren fortgesetzt. Er ist immer noch Professor an der Schule für Kunst und Handwerk in Vicenza und viele Seminare.
